Velvet Tarot

Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms are between you and the developer of Velvet Tarot ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Velvet Tarot is. Velvet Tarot offers daily tarot cards, astrology placements and readings for your own questions, for reflection and entertainment. Readings are composed on your device from texts written for each card; they are not predictions of future events and come with no promise of accuracy. Nothing in the app is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it is no substitute for it. The app declines questions about health, legal matters and self-harm, and points to real help. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

2. Free features. The daily card and its reading, your Sun, Moon and Rising, the card library, the widget and your journal are free. Each installation also includes three free questions in any spread. We may change which features are free; anything you have already paid for stays yours.

3. Purchases and subscriptions. Purchases are made through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple ID; Apple's terms of sale apply. Prices are shown before you buy.

4. Your information. Your profile, birth details, questions, readings and notes are stored on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy at https://tarot.kalifi.ai/privacy/. Because they are not stored with us, we cannot recover them if your device is lost or the app is deleted; use Export my journal to keep a copy.

5. Our content. The deck's artwork, the card texts, readings and everything else in the app are our work and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may share images of your cards made with the app's Share feature. You may not copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer the app or its content.

6. Fair use. Do not misuse the app, interfere with how it works, or try to obtain paid features without paying.

7. No warranty; limits on liability. The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

8. Changes. We may update the app and these terms. If we change the terms we will publish the new version at this address with a new date; continuing to use the app means you accept them.

9. Apple. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it; in the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, and has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies; where these terms differ, these terms govern to the extent Apple's rules allow.

10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to rely on it.
